Receiving the Medal

On 7 February 2024, HRH The Prince of Wales, on behalf of His Majesty The King, presented Jessica with her M.B.E. medal at Windsor Castle.

Windsor Castle dates from 1070, when William the Conqueror began building. It remains a Royal residence and is the largest occupied castle in the world.

M.B.E. Investiture

During the M.B.E. investiture, Prince William asked Jessica questions about cyber security.

The M.B.E.

The Order of the British Empire (including the M.B.E.) was established in 1917 by King George V, originally to honor those who had served in a non-combative role in World War One.
